Sigma Alpha Iota’s annual Panhellenic Musicale

On Sunday, March 25, the music fraternities of Delta Omicron and Sigma Alpha Iota will be performing a recital titled “Musical Treasures from Eastern Europe”. The recital is free and open to the public, and will feature a variety of instruments and composers, including flute, piano, harp, clarinet, and vocal solos. I will be performing two marimba solos by composer Nebojsa Jovan Zivkovic. The recital will be followed by a reception.
This recital begins at 3pm at the First Baptist Church in Denver at 1375 Grant. Located across from the state capital. Free parking in church lot.

At 3pm on May 5, I will be performing with Colorado College’s Balinese gamelan. Directed by I Made Lasmawan, this ensemble is comprised of CC students and features both instrumental music and dance.
El Sistema Colorado

As the inaugural semester of El Sistema Colorado comes to a close, kindergarten and third grade students will give the community their final performance of the year! Students will perform on their violins and cellos, sing in a choir, and perform West African drumming and dancing. A celebratory reception will follow. Come and see the amazing things these kids have learned in four-and-a-half short months!
